The traffic light fish is a small tropical ornamental fish, suitable for growing in 22-26 ℃ water. They are timid and generally do not actively attack other fish, so they can be mixed with many tropical fish. It is often mixed with fish that belong to the neon carp genus Baolian lantern fish and green lantern fish. In addition, it can also and some other tropical ornamental fish, such as moonlight fish, triangle lantern fish, Congo mermaid, Mary fish and so on in the same tank mixed culture.
The traffic light fish and the guppy can be mixed in the same fish tank. Because they belong to tropical fish, they like to grow in water at about 25 degrees Celsius. Moreover, the traffic light fish character timid, guppy character warm water, two kinds of fish are not easy to fight, can live in peace. So it is completely feasible to put these two fish in the same tank.
Traffic light fish cannot be mixed with goldfish. Because the goldfish can be regarded as a cold water fish, and the traffic light fish is a tropical fish. The two kinds of fish like different water temperatures, so they are not suitable for breeding together. Moreover, the frequency of water change is different between the two kinds of fish. Goldfish usually change water every 8 days or so, while traffic light fish usually change water every 15 days or so.
