Lanshou goldfish does not have a high demand for oxygen. When the dissolved oxygen in water is 3-4 mg/L, they can move normally. Therefore, under normal feeding density, you can choose not to use oxygen. However, it is recommended that breeders install a circulating filtration system to ensure the clean water quality in the fish tank. If the feeding density is on the high side and the dissolved oxygen in the water is less than 2 mg per liter, the breeder needs to give them oxygen, otherwise they will suffer from hypoxia or death. The oxygen pump doesn't need to be turned on for too long, but it can be operated for 3-4 hours every day. At night, the oxygen pump can be turned off to avoid affecting their rest.
2. The requirement of water temperature for Lanshou fishThe requirement of water temperature for Lanshou fish is not high, and it can survive at the water temperature between 0-32 ℃, so the breeder does not need to adjust the water temperature deliberately. But the most suitable water temperature for them to grow is 20-26 ℃. If breeders want them to grow healthily, they can use heating rods to keep the water temperature in this range.
Although Lanshou goldfish has strong adaptability to water temperature, they are sensitive to temperature changes. In the usual feeding process, if the temperature difference between morning and evening is large, breeders need to take heat preservation measures. When changing water, the temperature difference between new water and old water should not exceed 2 ℃.
