Disinfection is the first thing to do before raising fish in a new fish tank. There may be some invisible bacteria in the fish tank. If the fish are raised directly, it may do harm to the health of the fish and even make the fish die. After sterilization, there will be no such problem. The disinfection method is very simple. After filling the fish tank with water, pour potassium permanganate into it and soak the inner wall of the fish tank for 1 hour.
2. Water cultivationWater cultivation is what we should do after disinfection. To raise water, it is necessary to connect the water, put it in a sunny place, and dry it for a period of time, so that the residual chlorine in the water will dissipate, then inject it into the fish tank, turn on the filter, and filter it for about one day, so that the impurities in the water can be filtered out and the water body becomes clear. Then it is necessary to cultivate nitrifying bacteria, pour the culture solution into the fish tank, turn off the lights and explode oxygen to accelerate reproduction, usually once a week until the digestive system is established.
3. Release fishUsually, in the process of raising water, the water will become turbid first, and then it will return to clarity, so that the water can be used for raising fish. But to be on the safe side, it's best to put a few fish to try the water first. The so-called fish that break into the tank are some varieties that are relatively solid and easy to raise, and the price is not high. As long as it can be fed for about half a month, it means that there is no problem with the water quality, and the fish that you want to raise can be raised. However, if there is something wrong with raising, you need to check or even reopen the tank.
