Blue tiger shrimp does have a certain degree of difficulty in raising, but the difficulty is not particularly high. Generally speaking, it is a shrimp with moderate difficulty in raising. It has a certain requirement for water quality, if the aquaculture water is too acidic, too low temperature, too high hardness or too high salinity, it will not grow well. But on the contrary, if we can control the water temperature and water quality when we breed them, we can basically raise them well.
1. Water temperature: Blue tiger shrimp is suitable for growing in water between 20-25 ℃. In very cold water, they will grow poorly. Therefore, special attention should be paid to keeping them warm in winter. In addition, when they are in the breeding period, it is recommended to raise the water temperature to about 26 degrees Celsius. This can improve the success rate of reproduction.
2. Water quality: They like slightly alkaline water, and can be raised with water with a PH value between 7.0 and 7.5. They like water with moderate hardness, and can be raised in water with GH value between 7-8. They are freshwater shrimps, which should be cultured in fresh water instead of high salinity water.
3. Feeding: They don't have high requirements for food. When they are raised, they can be fed with artificial shrimp food. The frequency of feeding does not need to be too high, control in every 1-2 days to feed once on the line. The amount of feeding should be well controlled, not too much, otherwise it will pollute the water quality.
