The difficulty of raising Neocaridina serrata is not particularly high, because their ability to adapt to the environment is relatively strong. In the actual breeding, the water which has been dried in the sun for 2-3 days can be used as the breeding water. They are not picky eaters, and can eat artificial feed, vegetable scraps, small aquatic insects and so on, so it is relatively easy to prepare food when breeding.
1. Water temperature: Neocaridina serrata does not have strict requirements on water temperature. When raising them at home, you can raise them well as long as you control the water temperature at about 23 ℃ and ensure that the water temperature does not change significantly. In winter, it is recommended to use heating rods to keep them warm, so as not to freeze them when the water temperature is too low.
2. Water quality: New Caridina serrata does not have a high requirement for water quality. It is OK as long as the tap water that has been exposed to the sun is used when it is cultured. However, in order to ensure clean water quality, it is recommended to install a filtration system in the water tank and change water regularly. This can prevent the water quality from changing and causing damage to the shrimp.
3, feeding: They are omnivorous, can eat shrimp food, can also eat aquatic insects or vegetables feed. When breeding, these feeds can be fed alternately. However, before feeding live bait, attention should be paid to the disinfection of feed. This prevents bacteria or eggs in the live bait from infecting the shrimp.
