is the life span of money turtles? The life span of money turtles is very long. Generally, their life span is between 30 and 80 years. Moreover, this time has not been added to their dormancy period. If this time is added, the money turtle can live for about 100 years. But this kind of tortoise is weak in the young stage and is very easy to get sick, so it is necessary to take good care of them to avoid their death due to illness. Wild money turtles may live longer if they grow in their natural environment. Money turtles have a long growth cycle and late sexual maturity.

2. How do money turtles breed

? The way money turtles breed is oviparous. A mature female money turtle can lay 3-9 eggs per year. Under normal circumstances, the ratio of female to male tortoises during breeding is 4:1. This kind of tortoise generally lays eggs only once a year, but a few individuals, large and well-nourished female tortoises can lay eggs twice, with an interval of 15-45 days. Female tortoises that are about to lay eggs usually choose to climb into the sand at night to lay eggs and collect them in time the next morning. The eggs can be hatched in an incubator with a height of about 40 cm, and the bottom of the incubator should be covered with fine sand with a thickness of 20 cm. The sick group of

rotten nail disease is generally adult turtles. At first, the disease is localized. After pressing the tortoise shell, the affected area will discharge pus. The disease has an incubation period and will spread locally if not treated in time. Rotten neck disease is mostly caused by biting when they mate. Most of the affected turtles are females. There are injuries on both sides of the neck, and the wounds will fester. Meat orange means that there is trauma outside the body surface of the tortoise, the necrotic meat has not been removed, new meat grows around the wound, the new meat wraps the necrotic meat, and becomes a meat orange. These diseases can affect the health of turtles and need timely treatment.
