Grass goldfish can be mixed with guppies, because neither of them is ferocious. But it is not recommended to raise them together. First of all, there is a big difference in body size. Grass goldfish are large in size, and their body length can reach 30-40 centimeters after they grow up. Guppies are relatively small and can only grow to about 4 centimeters as adults. The size difference between the two is so great that the grass goldfish can easily eat the guppy.
Secondly, their habits are different. Grass goldfish is a cold-water fish, which can survive in the water temperature between 18-28 degrees. Guppy is a tropical fish, which likes the water temperature between 22-26 degrees. Although they have similar requirements in water temperature, grass goldfish and guppy can not stay in the high temperature environment for a long time. Otherwise, their resistance and immunity will decline.
Finally, their food is different, although both are omnivorous fish, but grass goldfish usually need to eat some red and green feed to maintain body color, and guppies generally can not eat red and green feed.
Grass goldfish and koi can not be raised together, because the size of koi is larger than grass goldfish, koi adult body length can reach 1-1.5 meters, and koi's ability to grab food is relatively strong, if mixed together, grass goldfish is likely to be unable to grab food. In addition, the mouth of Koi is relatively cheap, and the tail of grass goldfish is easily bitten by them.
