with zebrafish? Mary fish can be raised with zebrafish. Because the Mary fish and the zebrafish both belong to tropical fish, the environmental growth temperatures of the Mary fish and the zebrafish are not very different, wherein the optimum growth temperature of the zebrafish is 20-23 deg C, and the optimum growth temperature of the Mary fish is 22-28 deg C; and during maintenance, the environmental temperature only needs to be adjusted within a range which can be adapted by the Mary fish and the zebrafish.
Secondly, although Mary fish is a soda fish and zebrafish is a freshwater fish, Mary fish can also survive in freshwater environment. And the requirements of the two for the water quality environment also have a common intersection part, wherein the hardness of the water needs to be controlled between 300 and 500, the pH value of the water is preferably controlled between 7.2 and 7.4, and the specific gravity is preferably controlled between 1.000 and 1.002. It is easier to polyculture as long as the water quality environment is controlled within this range.
Although Mary fish and zebrafish are relatively mild fish, zebrafish is more energetic. It swims almost all day in the water. It also chases fish that swim slower than itself and pecks the tail fin of these fish. Therefore, in addition to controlling the growth environment, we should also observe the state of the fish. Some small and slow-swimming Mary fish should not be kept together with zebrafish to avoid their injury.
