Feeding: Newborn koi can be fed with red nematodes, shrimp eggs, soybean milk, milk powder and other foods, but they are in the growth period, and breeders need to feed them with some plant feed. Water quality: Small koi is not strict with water quality, as long as the water is transparent and clean. Density: Small koi are small in size, but their demand for oxygen is relatively high. Breeders need to ensure that the feeding density is not too high to avoid their lack of oxygen.
How to raise 2-3 cm seedlings of small koi and what should we pay attention to

1. feeding

2-3 cm small koi is in a critical period of growth and development, breeders need to use a variety of feed to feed, in order to ensure a balanced nutrition. Generally more common is plant feed and animal feed, plant feed can choose some duckweed, aquatic plants, carrots, tofu residue and so on. Animal feed can choose some dried shrimps, red worms, shrimp eggs, mealworms, Tenebrio molitor, etc. Feeding small koi should follow the principle of eating less and more meals, preferably three times a day, each time to 80% full.

2. the water quality

of small koi carp is not high, as long as the water is clear and clean. But they like old water, so breeders can't change water frequently, and it's better to change only one third of the water at each change. If conditions permit, a circulating filtration system can be installed to delay the deterioration of water quality.

3. Small density

Koi are small in size, but they have a large demand for oxygen, and the growth rate is relatively fast. The breeder will need to choose a larger tank in which to breed them. If the feeding density is too high, the breeder needs to install an oxygen pump in the fish tank to ensure that the dissolved oxygen in the water is sufficient. When they grow faster, they also need to replace the fish tank to avoid limiting their body development due to lack of space.
