When cultivating the arhat fish, in addition to paying attention to the water quality, special attention should also be paid to the water temperature. However, it should be noted that the water temperature requirements of the arhat are different in different growth stages. Specifically, it can be divided into the following three stages:
1. Fry stage: Generally speaking, the length of the arhat is less than 7 cm, which belongs to the fry stage. During this stage, the temperature of the water can be regulated to about 32 degrees. Adjusting to a higher range, the metabolic rate of Luhan fish will be properly accelerated, which can promote their rapid growth.
2. Sub-mature stage: The second stage is the sub-mature stage. When the length of the fish is 7-15 centimeters, it belongs to the sub-adult stage. At this stage, it is best to keep the water temperature between 29 and 30 degrees. Moreover, as far as possible, the water temperature is slightly higher in the early stage of the sub-adult stage, and the water temperature slowly decreases in the late stage of the sub-adult stage.
3. Adult stage: The last stage is the adult stage. When the length of the fish is more than 15 centimeters, it means that they have grown up. After adulthood, the water temperature should be kept between 27-28 degrees, not too high, to slow down the metabolic rate. If the metabolism is too fast, the life span of the fish may be affected.
The requirement of the Siraitia grosvenorii for water temperature is relatively high. When breeding Luohan fish, the water temperature should not be lower than 25 degrees as far as possible, otherwise the life span of Luohan fish is very affected. Generally speaking, if the temperature is below 15 degrees, the survival rate of Luhan fish can even be reduced to 20%. In order to ensure that the water temperature is always suitable, heating rods and other equipment can be prepared.
