Abalone snails need to meet some conditions, including temperature, pH, water hardness, water quality and food.
1. Temperature: The feeding temperature of abalone snails should be kept between 10 and 38 degrees, which is relatively wide.
2. PH: Abalone snails can not grow in acidic environment, which will corrode their shells. Therefore, it is better to raise abalone snails in an alkaline environment with a PH value of about 7.4.
3. Water hardness: Abalone snails need to live in hard water with high calcium content, so that their shells can be strong.
4. Food: Abalone snail has a relatively large demand for algae, which can play a very good role in cleaning algae in water. However, in the absence of algae, some fish food or shrimp food residue or spinach leaves boiled, they can accept.
5. Stability: The most important thing for raising abalone snails is stability. It is better not to move them, because they have strong adhesion to the wall of the tank, and easy to move and easily hurt them.
The abalone snail will not explode. Abalone snails can not breed in freshwater environment, that is, in tanks, but can only breed in seawater.
