There are two reasons for pasting the fish tank with a black background. One is to facilitate viewing, especially for the fish tank placed against the wall. If there is a background, it will look better. Another is to keep the color of the fish, many fish body color often changes with the surrounding environment, if the overall transparent, there will be fading phenomenon, and black background can avoid this situation.
1. Disinfection: The first step in opening the tank is disinfection, whether it is an old tank or a new tank. Fill the bathtub with water first, and then pour potassium permanganate or chlorine dioxide, the former is more common, but the latter has better bactericidal effect. After soaking for 3-4 hours, you can drain the water, and then brush it with clean water several times.
2. Culture: After the fish tank is disinfected, water can be added to it. Generally, the trapped tap water should be used. In this way, the bacteria can be cultured directly without drying. Culturing bacteria is mainly to cultivate nitrifying bacteria, pour them into the fish tank, add a little fish food or shrimp section, and then turn off the light for a period of time. When the water is turbid and clear, the nitrification system is established.
3. Test the water: After the bacteria are cultured, the water is ready. At this time, you can release the fish. However, to be on the safe side, you'd better put a few fish in the tank to test the water. Fish into the tank generally choose to compare the skin is good to raise, so as to determine whether the tank has opened well. If the fish in the tank can be raised for half a month, you can prepare to put the fish you want to raise.
