1. Water temperature: Big-eyed thief shrimps do not have strict requirements on water temperature. When they are normally raised, they can survive as long as the water temperature does not exceed 30 ℃. If you want them to grow better, it is recommended to control the water temperature at about 24 degrees Celsius.
2. Water quality: They also have low requirements for water quality. As long as they are not too acidic or alkaline, not too salty, not too hard, they can survive. When you raise it at home, you can raise it with tap water that has been aired.
3. Water change: When breeding, one third of the water can be changed every 10 days or so. When changing water, we should pay attention to adjusting the temperature, acidity and alkalinity of new water to the same level as old water. This can prevent the sudden change of water temperature and water quality from causing harm to shrimps.
4. Feeding: They do not have high requirements for food. When they are raised, they can be fed with shrimp food, red worms, tubificidae and other foods. Feeding can be fed 1-2 times a day, and the feeding frequency can be properly increased when the young shrimps are cultured.
It is recommended to use oxygen when breeding the big-eyed thief shrimp. Because they are shrimp after all, they need dissolved oxygen to grow. Oxygen pump can be used to pump oxygen. However, they are more solid skin, if the breeding density is not very high, then do not play oxygen for a few more times of water, can also feed. But when the breeding density is high, oxygen must be used, otherwise they can not grow normally.
