1, change the water: If the fish scales are due to poor water quality or vertical scale disease, you need to change the water for the fish first. At this time, water should be changed a little more frequently, usually every few days, less than one third each time, so as to improve water quality as soon as possible, reduce the content of bacteria in water, so as to avoid further deterioration of the disease.
2. Heating up: The purpose of heating up is to stimulate the immunity of the fish so that it can heal itself. It should be noted that the temperature can not rise too high, compared with peacetime, as long as the increase of 1-2 degrees Celsius is enough. In addition, warming also has a certain side effect, that is, to accelerate the reproduction of bacteria in the fish tank, which may lead to serious illness.
3. Salt: In order to offset the negative effects of warming, salt can be added to the fish tank. Because of the osmotic pressure of freshwater fish, water will enter from the body surface, and after salt, the osmotic pressure of the water body changes, the entry of water slows down, so that the possibility of pathogens invading the fish body is greatly reduced. However, the salinity must be controlled at about three thousandths, too high can easily lead to the water in the fish being sucked out.
4. Medicated bath: If the vertical scale disease is serious, you need to use medication. You can use furacilin or furazolidone to soak and wash the fish body for about 20-30 minutes each time.
