Fish farming must change water, but the cycle of water change is not fixed, different fish and different water, the difference is very big. If the fish is relatively simple, there is only one tank, there are many fish, and the water quality deteriorates quickly, then it will be changed every three to four days. If the fish tank is relatively large and the breeding density is relatively small, it can be changed once a week. If there is a filter, it will be better, and it will be no problem to change it once in half a month.
1. Pay attention to the amount of water: The first thing to control when changing water is the amount of water. Generally, it is about one fifth or one quarter of the total amount of water. Changing too much water will easily stimulate the fish. And you can't change it too often, otherwise the water quality will change unstably and the health of fish will be easily affected.
2. Pay attention to the water temperature: The water temperature should be paid attention to when changing the water. The change of the water temperature is also unfavorable to the growth of the fish. Before changing, the water temperature must be measured to ensure that the temperature difference between new water and old water does not exceed 1-2 degrees Celsius. Generally can not use the new tap water just connected, it is best to dry for a period of time, in addition to a residual chlorine, but also can make its temperature close to room temperature.
3. Avoid changing water by violence: Do not change water by violence. The so-called violent water exchange is to quickly pump away the old water and then pour the new water directly, which has a great impact on the fish. Usually, the water pipe is inserted into the bottom of the tank and the water is pumped out by siphon. Then pour the prepared new water slowly from the wall of the tank into it, not too fast.
