The sky blue magic shrimp is easy to raise. It can survive in the water with the water temperature of 20-30 ℃ and the pH of 6.5-9.0. They do not have too many requirements for the environment, nor are they picky eaters, so they are relatively easy to raise shrimp.
1. Water temperature: The Sky Blue Devil Shrimp does not require high water temperature. It can survive in water of 20-30 ℃. In artificial breeding, it is recommended to adjust the water temperature to 24-26 C, which is more conducive to their growth. When they are in breeding season, it is recommended to adjust the water temperature to 26-28 degrees Celsius. It's better for their reproduction.
2. Acidity and alkalinity: The Sky Blue Devil Shrimp does not require high acidity and alkalinity of water. As long as the PH of water is between 6.5 and 9.0, they can survive. However, they prefer weakly alkaline water to weakly acidic water. This water is more conducive to their shelling. Therefore, it is more recommended to adjust the PH of water to 7.2-8.0 in actual cultivation.
3. Hardness: Sky Blue Shrimp does not like too hard water, nor does it like too soft water. When farming, it is recommended to use water with hardness between 17 and 25. If the water is too hard or too soft, they will fail to shell and die.
4. Oxygen supply: They have a large demand for oxygen. It is recommended to open the oxygen pump for 24 hours to provide oxygen. If there is no oxygen in the water, they will grow poorly.
5. Feeding: They are not picky eaters, but they like to eat animal feed. Artificial shrimp food can be used to feed red worms, tubificidae, loaches, small fish or shrimps. We can't just feed artificial shrimp food, because the protein contained in it is not enough to meet the growth needs of sky blue shrimp.
