Not all fish can't be fed at night. It's just that common freshwater fish are active during the day and will rest at night. They can't eat even if they are fed. If they stay in the water, they are easy to foam. When the fish eat again, it will affect their intestines and stomach. However, for some nocturnal fish, it is time to come out at night, when they need to be fed.
1. Feeding once every few days: There is usually no fixed limit on the number of times fish are fed. The fish are relatively hungry. It is no problem to feed them once every few days. However, raising fish in this way can easily cause them to grow slowly and look in no condition. Usually twice a day, once in the morning, once in the afternoon, or three times a day, but the total amount should be about the same.
2. How much to feed each time: You can feed less fish, but never feed more. Feeding more can easily lead to fish suffering from enteritis, affecting its health, while the residual bait left in the water, but also pollute the water quality. In addition, according to the different types of fish, feeding feed is not the same, feed selection is not good, fish will not eat.
3. Do not feed the fish in the tank: The new fish cannot be fed when they are in the tank. At this time, the fish have not yet adapted to the current water body due to changes in the environment, so they eat very little. They do not eat after feeding. Generally, they have to wait for three days before they can feed some fish food. If they still do not eat, they have to wait for a period of time to have a try.
4. Stop eating when you are sick: When the fish is sick, you need to stop feeding in time. The appetite is not strong during the illness period. Fish food will also lead to deterioration of water quality, which is extremely unfavorable for recovery. When the fish is well, they can continue to feed.
