If ornamental shrimps are raised in grass tanks, they can survive even if they are not fed. Because there are aquatic plants and plankton in the tank, shrimp can eat them, but the food they feed is not very delicious. If there are few aquatic plants in the tank, they need to be fed properly, otherwise the food is not enough, the shrimp is not big, and the state is not good.
1. Feed selection: Ornamental shrimps have to undergo shelling during their growth. If their own physique is weak, they are likely to die during shelling. Therefore, the feed must pay attention to supplementing nutrition. Feed can choose grain, grain, moss, algae, red worms and shrimp, etc., can also feed organic spinach.
2. Feeding times: Ornamental shrimps can be fed once every two or three days, or they can be fed every day. If they are fed frequently, the better the shrimps grow. However, the feed should not be too much, so as not to pollute the water quality and cause turbidity in the water body. It is usually fed once in the morning and once in the afternoon, 30% of the total amount is fed in the morning and 70% in the afternoon, and the daily dosage is basically 5-8% of the body weight of shrimp.
3. Removal of residual baits: In order to prevent the deterioration of water quality caused by residual baits, the baits at the bottom of the water tank shall be removed regularly. Cleaning is usually done when the water is changed, the water is pumped out from the bottom, and then mixed with new water. In addition, it can also strengthen the filtration and adjust the position of the water suction port so that the dirt in the water body can be sucked away.
