The guppy's needle tail disease may be caused by the deterioration of water quality. At this time, all the water in the fish tank should be replaced and treated with oxytetracycline tablets. It may also be due to excessive feeding density. At this time, the fish should be fed separately, the density should be reduced, and then the fish should be fed in potassium permanganate solution. It may also be because there are too many nitrifying bacteria in the fish tank, and the bacteria adsorbed on it infect the fish. At this time, the fish tank should be washed, and then soaked with furazolidone solution.
What reason is guppy gets needle end disease, how to treat?

1. Water quality deterioration

1. Cause: Long time without changing the water, or bait residue in the water will lead to deterioration of water quality. When the water quality is poor, many bacteria will grow. Bacteria attached to fish can make them sick.

2. Treatment: At this time the water in the fish tank has been polluted, so to change all the water. Salt is added into the fresh water for sterilization and disinfection, and 1 to 2 pieces of oxytetracycline tablets are added for treatment. During the course of treatment, the water should be changed again every day and tablets should be added. After a week or so, the fish will gradually improve.

2. feeding density is too large

1. Cause: The number of fish is too large, resulting in excessive breeding density of fish tanks. They live in a narrow space and do not have enough oxygen to breathe. It is easy to suffer from needle tail disease if they are crowded together for a long time.

2. Treatment: First, they are divided into tanks, and then raise the temperature of the fish tank, and to which oxygen. Adde potassium permanganate solution to make water reddish, and adde fish. Generally speaking, this situation will not be too serious. As long as the disinfection work is done well, the breeding density can be adjusted to the appropriate one.

3. Excessive nitrifying bacteria

1. Cause: There are too many nitrifying bacteria on the wall of the fish tank, and the germs will adhere to it. Because guppies like to sleep at the bottom of the tank, they are easily exposed to pathogens, which can lead to disease.

2. Treatment: First fish out, and then wash the fish tank wall. After the nitrifying bacteria and the bacteria attached to the nitrifying bacteria are completely removed, the fish is put into a furazolidone solution or a penicillin solution for soaking and washing. Note that it is beneficial to have a proper amount of nitrifying bacteria in the fish tank, but the number should not be too large.
