The hatching time of the sakura shrimp is different, which mainly depends on the development ability of the shrimp in the fertilized egg period. Although the newly hatched shrimp is very small, it still needs a long time to develop. Fertilized eggs, which develop more slowly, may take longer than those used by fish. Generally speaking, it takes only about 20 days for cherry shrimp to hatch from the beginning to the birth of young shrimp. If the temperature is suitable, it will accelerate the development of fertilized eggs. Some shrimps can be born after ten days of incubation, while those with slower development may take a month.
The newly hatched shrimps are relatively fragile and have low defense ability, so they should be allowed to grow alone in a fish tank. When feeding, the water temperature should not be lower than 23 degrees Celsius. If conditions permit, it is better to control the water temperature between 23 and 26 degrees Celsius. Their growth rate is the fastest in this temperature range. Too high or too low temperature is not conducive to their growth and development. In addition, juvenile shrimp are more sensitive to changes in water quality. When they have not grown up, they should reduce the number of water changes to avoid sudden changes in water quality.
