Pearl goldfish can not be regarded as a large goldfish species. As adults, they can grow to about 15-20 cm in length. Generally speaking, fish growing to about 15 cm can be used as parent fish for reproduction. If the breeding environment is very suitable, individual individuals of individual species can grow to more than 20 cm. However, such cases are relatively rare.
Pearl goldfish life span is about 5-8 years. If the breeding environment is suitable and the food fed is clean and easy to digest, they can live for about 5-8 years. But if the breeding environment is relatively general, then their life span will be shortened to about three years. If the breeding environment is very poor, the food is not clean, or the water temperature changes frequently, they may die early because they can not adapt.
When breeding pearl goldfish, we must use shallow water, still water. It is not recommended to use water with a depth of more than 30 cm, nor is it recommended to use a filtration system that produces a strong water flow. The water temperature should be maintained between 20 and 28 degrees Celsius, and attention should be paid to maintaining stability, so as not to allow it to fluctuate greatly. Do not change the water too often, every 3-4 days, one third of the water can be changed each time. This will make them grow better.
