The horsetail fighting fish is a better variety of Thai fighting fish to feed. Its environmental adaptability and vitality are relatively strong, so farming is relatively easy. It is not afraid of hypoxia, because it can swim to the surface when the dissolved oxygen in the water decreases and breathe air directly. When breeding, as long as the water temperature is good, the right amount of food is provided, and enough space is given for its growth, it can be fed.
1. Water temperature: The horsetail fighting fish is a typical tropical fish that does not tolerate low temperature water. When farming, 24-27 C water should be used. This will keep them in good condition. In winter, we should pay attention to cold prevention, do not let the water temperature below 20 C, otherwise it will not be able to adapt.
2. Water change: When breeding, water can be changed every 7 days or so. If the tank has a filtration system, you can change the water every 10-15 days. In order to avoid the sudden change of water temperature, we can not change all the water every time we change the water, about one third of the water can be changed.
3. Feeding: When breeding, it is necessary to feed them regularly to provide them with food. They are not picky about food, and can eat green vegetable leaves, green algae, artificial fish food, dried red worms, water earthworms and other foods. Every time you feed, you should disinfect the food in advance. Green vegetables should be blanched in boiling water and shredded before feeding. Live Bait must be sterilized. In order to avoid parasites or bacteria, causing fish to get sick.
