Silver arowana survival ability is strong, is a relatively good breeding of a class of fish. When breeding, it only needs to ensure that the water temperature, water quality and feed meet the requirements. As long as it is in warm and clean water, it can grow healthily. But if you want to keep it well, the temperature needs to be controlled between 24 and 28 degrees Celsius. It is sensitive to temperature, so it is better to let it live in a constant temperature state. The water for breeding it can be tap water, but it needs to be exposed to sunlight to eliminate chlorine. In terms of feeding, small fish and shrimps are generally fed. After all this is done, it becomes very simple to breed it.
The size of the tank depends on the body length and breeding density of silver arowana. During the juvenile period, the fish are small and can use a smaller tank. But the silver arowana grows very fast, up to 60 centimeters a year. If a small tank is used for a long time, it will seriously affect the development of the fish, and even make it mentally urgent and physically deformed. Therefore, it is better to choose a large fish tank to breed them at the beginning. As for the specifications of the fish tank, at least 150 cm long, 60 cm wide and 60 cm high should be used. This specification of fish tank is the most basic, if not meet this requirement, it is recommended to replace the fish tank.
