Liujianyu is not a tropical fish that is easy to raise, because it has a higher requirement for water quality. It likes alkaline water. When breeding, the PH of water should be kept above 7.5, preferably around 8.5. It likes hard water. When breeding, the hardness of water should be kept above 12, preferably around 20. It also likes relatively warm water. When breeding, the temperature of water should be kept above 22 C, preferably between 24 and 29 C. During cultivation, water needs to be changed every 7-8 days to ensure water quality and prevent fish from getting sick.
