Water is indispensable for fish, so water quality is very important for cultured fish. If goldfish live in poor water quality, their growth will be very bad, and may even die. Specifically, there are two types of commonly used:
1, natural water: the first can be used is natural water, such as lakes, rivers, rivers and so on. Natural water is relatively mild, which contains more microorganisms, oxygen content and nutrients are also more. However, it may contain more impurities, and sometimes it will be polluted by industrial sewage and wastewater discharge. Therefore, if we use these natural water, sometimes we must go through a certain purification treatment.
2. Groundwater: Aquaculture goldfish can also use groundwater, such as well water or spring water. Groundwater contains more calcium, magnesium and other elements, hardness is relatively large, this kind of aquaculture fish is also possible. However, the temperature of groundwater is generally relatively low, which is not suitable for the growth of fish. So, before you use it, you can put it in the sun.
Natural water and groundwater can be used to fish, but if you want to use it is more troublesome. Therefore, recently, people prefer to use tap water to raise fish. Tap water belongs to a kind of soft water, and it can also raise fish. However, in the purification, tap water will add trace amounts of liquid chlorine and other substances, their amount is very low, generally speaking, will not cause harm to the human body, but is harmful to goldfish. If you want to use this water to raise fish, you need to remove the chlorine in it first. Generally speaking, chlorine can be removed by sun exposure, and there are some tools specially used to remove chlorine.
