They can live in the wounds of goldfish after injury, or in the eggs of dead goldfish, and are infectious. If other goldfish are also injured, then these bacteria will invade the goldfish's body. After the invasion of bacteria, goldfish skin tissue will fester, and the secretion of mucus will be more, so in our naked eye will be some white frost-like material. This disease is more likely to occur in early spring, late winter, good light and rainy days. During the breeding season, if the eggs are infected with this disease, the number of deaths will be very large. After discovering this situation, we must treat it in time.
Treatment of this disease, specifically, there are two methods:
1, you can first prepare some cotton swabs, and then dip them in iodine, will have symptoms of goldfish are found out, and then use cotton swabs to remove these white substances. After that, it is necessary to isolate the sick fish, put them in a separate tank, and then add some salt to the water for disinfection, with a concentration of 3%. In this process, do not feed too much. After about a week, the sick fish can be cured.
2. The second method is to add salt and baking soda to the water at the same time. Need to pay attention to the proportion of water and salt, baking soda ratio can be 1000:2:2. Again, about a week later, it will be cured.
