Rotten fins can heal themselves, but the self-healing here does not mean that it depends entirely on itself. It still needs some help. It needs to change water frequently, raise the temperature appropriately, and add salt and explosive oxygen at the same time. It should be noted that only when the condition is mild to be effective, if the condition is serious, must be treated with drugs.
1. Stop feeding: When a fish is found to have rotten fins, the first thing to do is to stop feeding. Because when sick, the fish's appetite is not strong, this time feeding is not much, the remaining residual bait is decomposed, but also accelerate the deterioration of water quality, for the recovery of fish is very unfavorable. And fish are more tolerant of hunger, not feeding for a few weeks will not have any problems.
2, old three: In order to help the fish better self-healing, need to come to an old three, change the water to heat up the salt. The frequency of changing water should be frequent, and it should be changed every other day, about a quarter each time. After changing the water, the temperature should be raised properly, and it is OK to increase 1-2 degrees Celsius compared with the original, not too high. Then add salt to the water, the salinity is between 0.3% and 0.5%, and the salt should be added proportionally after changing the water.
3. Medicated bath: It is unrealistic to rely on self-healing in the later period of rotten fins, and it still needs to be treated by soaking and washing with drugs. 0.2 gram of furacilin powder can be mixed with 100 kilograms of water to prepare a solution, and the fish can be put into the solution for soaking and washing, or 3-5 tablets of furazolidone or 5-8 tablets of oxytetracycline and the like can be added into the same amount of water.
