? In the process of raising parrot fish, they may jump into the tank. This is caused by the following 3 kinds of reasons commonly:
1, anoxic: Parrot fish belongs to tropical ornamental fish, and it is the ornamental fish with higher oxygen consumption. If the oxygen content in the water is insufficient, they will float to the surface to breathe. If the oxygen content of the water surface is not enough for them, they will jump out of the tank.
2. Poor water quality: Parrot fish prefer to live in water with weak acidity and low hardness. If the water quality does not meet their needs, or the water is changed too frequently, it will stimulate them to jump out of the tank.
3. The water level is too high: If the water level in the tank is too high, they will fall out when they swim in the upper layer. In fact, this is not intentional, but in our view, it is a jump cylinder.
If we don't want parrot fish to jump into the tank, we need to pay attention to the following points:
1. Use a large tank to raise them and provide them with a larger space. Oxygen supply equipment is installed in the tank to ensure sufficient oxygen content in the water.
2. Provide them with water with weak acidity and low hardness. When changing the water, pay attention that the temperature of the water before and after changing the water should not be too different.
3. The water level of the fish tank should not be too high, and some space should be left as a buffer. You can also add a cover to the top of the cylinder to prevent them from jumping out.
